Camp Cocoon

Camp Cocoon - 2013 North Georgia

Camp Cocoon 2013 was another excellent experience for campers and volunteers alike. The weather was just about as good as could be for camping in the North Georgia Mountains. The schedule of activities kept everyone busy but not to busy to embrace the experience. The activities were engaging for the campers and the food was really good. This was an excellent camp for 96 campers and 110 volunteers. As we ended camp with the butterfly release we could all sense that something good had happened over the weekend. The children were bonded together with each other and the volunteers. The volunteers almost did not want camp to end and love was in the air. As the campers departed there were a lot of hugs passed around and that made everything just right. Our 2014 camp is being planned for August 8, 9 & 10, 2014. Details available on link below.

Pruitt Cares/Disaster Relief

Every day in some region of our reach some one needs help recovering from a Natural Disaster or devastating Personal Hardship. Pruitt Cares is our program to help people affected by tornadoes, floods and fires that are out of an individuals control. Pruitt Cares is also there for those who are financially affected by a serious illness or the death of an immediate family member (please see Pruitt Cares page for specific guidelines). While this program cannot relieve all of the distress that accompanies these events, we strive to ease the financial effects as much as is feasibly possible. Please visit our Pruitt Cares page for more information.
