Camp Cocoon

Our weekend bereavement camp for kids will be held Aug. 2-4, 2024, in beautiful Tallulah Falls, Ga. Applications are now being accepted for campers and adult volunteers.

Complete the entire application. Choose as your criteria SEVERE ILLNESS (write in COVID-19 next to it).

Return to the Foundation by email ( or Fax(678-533-6463). 

Along with the application, you will also need to send the following:

  • 2 recent pay stubs
  • Official proof of your situation – positive COVID-19 test OR a doctor’s note proving that you were required to quarantine at home on doctor’s advice
  • Documentation from your facility as to how long you spent out of work as a result of COVID-19 (this can be an email sent directly to the Foundation).
  • Bills for the Foundation to pay on your behalf (that can be paid by CHECK) such as rent/mortgage, car payment, utilities, car insurance, medical bills.

Even if you did not become ill, but still incurred expenses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for assistance. COVID-19 Fund Grant Information
